Yes. Once the language pack is downloaded, translation runs offline on your device.
How do I prepare before a trip?
Open the app while on stable Wi-Fi, download the language pack you need, and test text, voice, and camera translation once before departure.
Can I translate photos and screenshots?
Yes. You can use the camera or choose an image from your photo library for text extraction and translation.
Why does translation speed vary?
Because the work happens on-device, translation time can vary by phone model, input length, and language pair.
Which permissions does the app request?
Camera, microphone, and photo library access are only used to support camera translation, voice input, and importing images for OCR.
